In our November meeting, we have presentations from Lori Kitner,
the Assistant Bureau Chief of Region 2 for the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS)
and Christina Muri Irland from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign,
both will present information about the SWTCIE project.
Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment Demonstration
(SWTCIE Illinois) Project is funded by U.S. Department of Education -
Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA).
The goal is to help people with disabilities achieve competitive integrated employment
- real jobs for real pay and help agencies learn new strategies to support people with
disabilities in finding and keeping real jobs for real pay in their community.
