World Relief: Our members are seeing an influx of immigrant job seekers.
Come and learn about the services World Relief Chicagoland offers to immigrant job seekers.
Their career pathway specialists will share about the continuum of services
their Workforce Development team offers.
Darlene Hendrix, Manager Sector Specific Programs, will be sharing information
about the Goodwill CEJA Hub. Goodwill will be opening a Clean Jobs Workforce Network
Program (CEJA) Workforce Hub in Aurora. Through the Clean Jobs Workforce Network Program
grant ("CEJA Workforce Hubs"), thirteen Workforce Hubs across Illinois will offer training, certification preparation,
and skill development for entry-level jobs in clean energy-related industries such as solar, wind, energy efficiency
and EV maintenance. The CEJA Workforce Hubs will also offer wrap around services and support in order to help
participants overcome barriers to successful completion.
