The West Suburban Jobs Council (WSJC) is a coalition of community agencies that strive to increase access to employment for low-income residents in DuPage County, IL. The WSJC was launched in May, 2007, as an outgrowth of the People’s Resource Center's Job Assistance Program, and in association with the Chicago Jobs Council. The WSJC acquired 501(c)(3) status in 2009.
Our membership is composed of community service agencies and their representatives that
meet bi-monthly as the General Assembly and within committees. Our committees are the "working arm" of the WSJC and are open to any member of the General Assembly.
