WSJC Celebrates ten years of advocacy
for low income job seekers
and the working poor!
Last month over 60 West Suburban Jobs Council members came together for a luncheon to celebrate its achievements over that last decade. Many of our Charter Members also attended. Candace King, Executive Director of DuPage Federation for Human Services Reform, provided a presentation on the new face of DuPage County, entitled "Who Are Our New Neighbors?", explaining the changing demographics of the workforce in our area.
Thank you again to our sponsors for the event including:
Care for Cars
Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago
Loaves and Fishes
People’s Resource Center
Ray Graham Association
We also welcomed our new president, Debbie Lunger from the People's Resource Center replacing Barb Tartaglione who had served for the past ten years.

We are looking forward to another ten years of collaboration with all of our agencies to continue our mission to assist low income job seekers and the working poor to access living wage jobs.
